Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, has mourned the passing of Arch. Muhammed Sa’adudeen Alao Olota, the Asiwaju of Oke Oyi Land.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Senator described him as an outstanding individual who dedicated his life to the service and development of his people.
Senator Mustapha noted that the Asiwaju made significant contributions to human capital development, particularly through his support for education, which enabled many indigenes of Oke Oyi to attain higher education.
He extended his condolences to the family, the people of Oke Oyi, and the Ilorin Emirate, praying to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanah Firdaus.
